Our Services

Yellow Fish delivers science-led environmental services that support monitoring, analysis, and decision-making across environmental and sustainability challenges. Our work integrates data, spatial analysis, and behavioural insight to inform practical and effective environmental management.

Environmental Chemistry and Biology

We provide science-led assessment of environmental systems using environmental chemistry and biological indicators to understand ecosystem condition, pollution pressures, and ecological responses. Our work supports baseline assessments, impact evaluations, and ongoing monitoring, generating robust data that informs environmental management, planning, and regulatory processes.

GIS Analysis

We use spatial analysis and mapping to understand environmental patterns, pressures, and change across landscapes and catchments. Our GIS work supports environmental assessments, pollution tracking, land-use analysis, and decision-making by integrating spatial data with monitoring and field-based information.

Human-Environment Behaviour

This service focuses on understanding how human behaviour, perceptions, and decision-making influence environmental outcomes. Using applied behavioural research and analysis, we identify drivers of impact and opportunities for change, supporting more effective communication, policy development, and environmental interventions.

Pollution Remediation

Our pollution remediation services focus on identifying sources, pathways, and impacts of contamination and supporting practical, evidence-based interventions. We prioritise the use of nature-based solutions alongside emerging and innovative technologies to improve environmental performance and system resilience. Our work includes assessing remediation options, supporting implementation, and monitoring effectiveness over time to ensure interventions deliver meaningful and sustained improvements.

Environmental Monitoring

We design and implement environmental monitoring programmes that assess ecosystem condition beyond water chemistry alone. Our monitoring integrates biodiversity and ecological indicators, including macroinvertebrates, microbial communities, aquatic and riparian flora, and habitat condition, to provide a holistic understanding of environmental health. These programmes support baseline assessments, long-term trend analysis, and post-intervention evaluation, with a strong emphasis on ecological interpretation and clear, decision-ready reporting.
