Our Story
Yellow Fish was founded in response to the growing need to better understand and address severe pollution within interconnected aquatic ecosystems. Rivers, wetlands, and dams do not exist in isolation; they form complex, linked systems where impacts upstream are carried downstream, often with significant consequences for ecosystems, communities, and water security.
Through years of hands-on research and field-based work, it became increasingly clear that many environmental challenges were not the result of a lack of data, but rather a gap between monitoring, interpretation, and action. Yellow Fish was established to help bridge this gap by combining rigorous environmental science with practical, data-driven approaches that support real-world decision-making.
Our work is rooted in the belief that effective environmental management begins with understanding how aquatic systems function, how pollutants move through them, and how human activities influence these processes across catchments and landscapes.

Mission
Our mission is to deliver science-led environmental monitoring, analysis, and advisory services that transform complex environmental data into meaningful insight and practical action. We focus on understanding pollution dynamics within interconnected aquatic ecosystems and supporting evidence-based decision-making that protects ecosystem health, water quality, and the communities that depend on these systems.
Vision
Our vision is a future where aquatic ecosystems are understood, protected, and restored through informed, science-based decision-making. We aim to contribute to healthier rivers, wetlands, and water systems by improving how environmental data is collected, interpreted, and applied, ensuring that monitoring leads to meaningful action and long-term environmental resilience.
